Comment fonctionne l’imprimante laser ?

To start the new year, and because we do printer repair service, we want to tell you about the functioning of laser printers. It will allow us to share with you articles we are preparing about all kinds of interesting aspects of laser printing; it should also help you learn about the parts and being more enlightened when talking with technicians.

Les étapes

  1. Once the toner has been transferred onto the paper, the fuser unit heats it to fix it on the paper.

All of this, of course, happens within about a second.

Did you know…

The LED (Light-Emitting-Diode) digital printer has been on the market for about 20 years. It uses an array of LED lights instead of laser light to capture and project the image. The main benefit is that is offers a greater image precision. As opposed to the conventional laser printer, the LED printer transmits a variety of tones between 100% black and 100% white.
